Work Hours & Flexibility

At Codelumis, we operate with a flexible work structure, offering both full-time and part-time roles:

Full-Time Shifts:
  • Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Evening Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Each shift includes a one-hour meal break and short breaks as needed.

Part-Time Work:
  • Flexible schedules based on project requirements.
  • Typical work ranges from 5 hours per day or 35 hours per week.
  • No fixed daily deadlines, but updates are required via standups and trackers.
Work Culture & Tracking:
  • No micromanagement – employees manage their own schedules while ensuring task completion.
  • Work progress is monitored through:
    • Daily standup meetings for updates and issue resolution.
    • Project management trackers for visibility and collaboration.
Flexible Work Arrangements:
  • Employees may request flexible work hours or remote work, subject to managerial approval and project needs.
  • Hybrid work options are available for applicable roles.
Overtime:
  • Overtime work must be pre-approved by management.
  • Additional compensation, including shift differentials, will be provided where applicable.

Code of Conduct

  • Respect & Inclusion: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination, harassment, or bullying based on gender, religion, caste, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic under Indian law.
  • Confidentiality: Employees must safeguard company and client information at all times. Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) apply where required.
  • Professionalism: All employees are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards in their interactions with colleagues, clients, and partners.

Attendance & Punctuality

  • Punctuality: Employees must adhere to their assigned work schedules.
  • Absences: Any absence must be reported to the manager as soon as possible.
  • Leave Requests: All leave requests must comply with the company’s leave policy.

Leave Policy

  • Paid Time Off (PTO): 12 days annually for vacation, personal time, or illness.
  • Sick Leave: 12 days per year with medical documentation if required.
  • Parental Leave:
    • Maternity Leave: 26 weeks for eligible employees as per the Maternity Benefit Act, 1961.
    • Paternity Leave: 1 week of paid leave for new fathers.
  • Unpaid Leave: May be granted for exceptional circumstances, subject to management approval.

Remote Work Policy

Employees may work remotely with prior approval from their manager.

Remote workers must maintain regular communication and meet performance expectations.

The company will provide necessary equipment and IT support for remote work.

Health & Safety

Codelumis is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace.

Employees must follow all safety protocols and report hazards or incidents immediately.

Regular health and safety training will be provided.

Performance Expectations

Employees must meet their job responsibilities and performance goals .

Technology & Equipment

Company-provided equipment (laptops, phones, etc.) must be used responsibly and primarily for work.

Employees are responsible for the security of company devices and data .

Personal use of company technology should be minimal and within guidelines .

Social Media & Communication

Employees must represent Codelumis positively on social media.

Confidential company information must not be shared online without authorization.

Professional communication standards must be followed in emails, chats, and meetings .

Grievance & Conflict Resolution

Employees are encouraged to report any workplace concerns or conflicts to their manager or HR.

All grievances will be handled confidentially and resolved promptly and fairly.

A formal Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is in place to handle complaints related to sexual harassment, in compliance with the POSH Act, 2013 .

Termination Policy

  • Employment may be terminated due to performance issues, policy violations, or company restructuring .
  • A notice period of 30 days (or as per the employment contract) will be provided. All company property must be returned upon termination.
  • Employees will receive a full and final settlement as per company policy and legal regulations.

Amendments to Policy

Codelumis reserves the right to update or modify this policy as needed.

Employees will be notified of changes in advance.
